Role Overview

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Estimator to join the Fire Door Inspection Solutions team. This is an opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing business operating in a critical industry, helping to support projects that focus on safety, compliance and long-term fire door performance. You will be responsible for preparing detailed quotations for fire door remedial works, replacements and upgrades, reviewing project information, and working closely with internal teams and clients to develop effective, tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fire door remedial works, replacements and upgrades.
  • Review project specifications, drawings and supporting documentation to produce quotations.
  • Manage and prioritise incoming enquiries while working to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide effective solutions and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Use internal and external systems to analyse project requirements and develop tailored quotes.
  • Keep up to date with fire door regulations, standards and best practice relating to associated works.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as an estimator, ideally within the fire door, construction or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of fire door regulations, standards and associated works.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using estimation software and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and internal teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
